الإمارات تفرض قيوداً على القادمين من ثلاث دول إفريقية

أعلنت شركة طيران الإمارات تحديث إرشادات السفر الخاصة بها عقب تطبيق دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة قيوداً جديدة على الدخول، وذلك في إطار الإجراءات الاحترازية المرتبطة بعمليات الفحص والمراقبة الخاصة بفيروس الإيبولا.
ودخلت الإجراءات الجديدة حيّز التنفيذ اعتباراً من الساعة الواحدة ظهراً بتوقيت دبي يوم 6 يونيو، وستظل سارية حتى إشعار آخر.
وبموجب هذه التعليمات، لن يُسمح للمسافرين الذين تواجدوا مؤخراً في جمهورية الكونغو الديمقراطية أو أوغندا أو جنوب السودان بدخول دولة الإمارات، ما لم يكونوا قد أمضوا أكثر من 21 يوماً خارج هذه الدول قبل موعد وصولهم إلى الدولة.
وتشمل القيود الجديدة جميع الرحلات المباشرة وغير المباشرة، كما يتعين على المسافرين العابرين (الترانزيت) عبر مطارات دبي الالتزام بمتطلبات الدخول الخاصة بوجهاتهم النهائية.
ودعت طيران الإمارات جميع المسافرين إلى مراجعة التعليمات والإرشادات الرسمية الصادرة عن الجهات الحكومية المختصة قبل السفر، والتأكد من تحديث بيانات الحجز الخاصة بهم، والتحقق من حالة الرحلات قبل التوجه إلى المطار لتجنب أي تأخير أو إرباك في إجراءات السفر.
وسوف تنسحب هذه الإجراءات على كافة شركات الطيران الأخرى في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة.
ولا تقتصر هذه الإجراءات الصارمة على دولة الإمارات فحسب، بل تأتي بالتزامن مع قيود سفر وفحوصات صحية مشددة فرضتها عدة دول أخرى حول العالم للحد من انتشار الفيروس. فقد حظرت البحرين والأردن دخول القادمين من الدول الإفريقية المتأثرة ما لم يقضوا فترة زمنية محددة خارجها، مع إخضاع مواطنيهم العائدين للحجر الصحي الإلزامي.
كما علقت رواندا دخول كل من تواجد في جمهورية الكونغو الديمقراطية أو مرّ عبرها. من جانبها، علقت كندا مؤقتاً تأشيرات الدخول للمقيمين في الدول الثلاث وفرضت حجراً صحياً صارماً لمدة 21 يوماً على الفئات المستثناة.
وفي الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، مُعنع مؤقتاً دخول المواطنين غير الأمريكيين وحاملي الإقامة الدائمة (الجرين كارد) الذين زاروا تلك الدول مؤخراً، مع توجيه بقية الرحلات إلى مطارات محددة لإجراء فحوصات متقدمة. كما بدأت تايلاند وعدد من المطارات الكبرى في الشرق الأوسط وإفريقيا بتطبيق فحوصات ومراقبة صحية دقيقة لجميع المسافرين الوافدين من مناطق التفشي لضمان السلامة العامة.
UAE Imposes Restrictions on Arrivals from Three African Countries

Emirates Airline has updated its travel advisory following the introduction of new UAE entry restrictions as part of enhanced Ebola-related screening and public health measures.
The new regulations came into effect at 1:00 PM Dubai time on June 6 and will remain in force until further notice.
Under the updated rules, travelers who have recently been in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda, or South Sudan will not be permitted to enter the UAE unless they have spent more than 21 consecutive days outside these countries before arrival.
The restrictions apply to both direct and indirect travel routes. Transit passengers travelling through Dubai must also comply with the entry requirements of their final destination.
Emirates has advised passengers to review official government travel guidance before departure, ensure their booking information is up to date, and verify their flight status before heading to the airport to avoid travel disruptions.
These restrictions will apply to all other airlines in the United Arab Emirates.
These strict measures are not limited to the UAE; they coincide with severe travel restrictions and health screenings imposed by several other countries globally to curb the spread of the virus. Bahrain and Jordan have banned entry for travelers coming from the affected African nations unless they have spent a specified period outside them, while subjecting returning citizens to mandatory quarantine.
Rwanda has also suspended entry for anyone who has recently been in or transited through the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Meanwhile, Canada has temporarily suspended entry visas for residents of the three countries and imposed a strict 21-day quarantine on exempted categories.
In the United States, entry has been temporarily barred for non-US citizens and permanent residents (Green Card holders) who recently visited those nations, with all other permitted flights being rerouted to designated airports for enhanced screening. Furthermore, Thailand and several major airports across the Middle East and Africa have initiated rigorous health checks and monitoring for all passengers arriving from the outbreak zones to ensure public safety.
